What is The Archive?

Well, you can think of it like a stack of boxes in the basement.  Records and mementoes from the past, not quite interesting enough to put in the main part of the house because you don't want to look at it every day.  Yet, not at the garbage and ctl-alt-delete level yet.  You know what I mean?
